I shouldn't touch computers

Hey everyone!!! It has been way too long since my last post and here is why- I sat down to download some photos onto the computer so that I could post something new. It had been a few weeks and I kept thinking about it but was finally able to sit and do it. Anyway, our computer has to have an external hard drive otherwise we don't have enough storage space and we can't do anything on it. That external hard drive takes up the USB spot on the back of the computer. Parker has always told me to not plug anything into the front of the computer because it will short it out. Well, sometimes I give it a try and it works and sometimes it does what he said it would- it shorts out. We have always been able to get it back on though. Well, this time I tried it and I hadn't even plugged it in all the way, I just had barely touched the USB cord to the computer and it sparked and shut down. We haven't been able to get it back on. I am using Parker's lap top to announce this little mis-hap but can't download photos onto it since it is his work computer. Anyway, there you are, the reason that you have all been without Enloe family posts the last month or more. I am not sure as to when we will get a new computer so will maybe just do typing posts for a while until we see how things go. I have enjoyed looking at everyone else's blogs though so keep up the good work and maybe I can join in again sometime!!!! Happy blogging!!!!

Avocado fun!!!!

Roxanna and I got to go on a really fun adventure. We were supposed to go on an avocado run and couldn't find any so we asked someone for help and the guy ended up taking us into his coffee bean farm that he runs and he let us pick all the avocados that we wanted. Roxanna and I were smiling from ear to ear the rest of the day. We both got to pick avocados from a real avocado tree and we learned a ton about growing coffee beans. It was so much fun!!!!

Hawaii

This is the view from the uppper house and the pool from the upper house as well.



The grey house is the lower house, a.k.a Lalo. The yellow house is the upper house, a.k.a. Maloona. This is the back view of the Maloona house and then below is the front view with the tiling and landscaping all finished. The picture of the back view of the Maloona house is taken from the Lalo house which shows you how close they are. The Lalo house still has to get landscaping done and the pool finished but other than that it is pretty much done.

Hard work hawaiian style

The landscaping took the longest and we only got finished on one house. The guys worked hard and did a great job. Parker is goofing off in this picture. I caught him with the pencil still behind his ear so he struck a pose!!! Ben and Chase are looking like a green acres picture here and then as the guys were putting up the fence, Chase and Ben wanted some action shots so that is the odd picture of Chase working on the fence!!!

Hard work

We took a crew of some very wonderful people over to Hawaii with us to get everything done. It will take another trip but we all got a lot done while there this time. Parker and Leif did tiling in the front and back of both houses. Brent Labrahm did the painting. Eric also brought a crew that works at his fencing company- Dave, Chase and Ben. Leif also brought his wonderful Wife Roxanna so that us women-folk could get the houses decorated and stocked with the essetials. Dave and Ben are the ones putting up the fence around the pool. Leif is the one showing Parker how to cut and lay tile!!! Everyone worked really hard and did an awesome job!!!!

Beach time!!!!

We did get to play some too. After working all day (hawaiians work from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. so we did the same) we would head off to a beach to play until the sun went down, then we would head home, eat dinner and crash.

Yummy in my Tummy

Another one of Leif's love's...mandarin oranges. He will down like 3 cans just at lunch if I let him. Of course his poor bum pays the price the next day and I would never let him eat that many. But he loves them. My other kids do too but Leif would eat nothing but mandarin oranges if I let him. Anyway, I thought these pictures were cute. Once again, wearing a hat and eating mandarin oranges...his two favorite things!!!!
