Leif and Pyper
My brother came to visit me for a week or so and brought his dog, pyper, with him. Leif at first was hesitant, but very quickly warmed up. Everytime we walked by the entry way where pyper was, he would freak out and want to go see her and give her a treat. If Leif wasn't in his usual playing places, we would just go look by pyper and we would find him trying to shove her toys in the door of her kennel and sticking his nose to the door so that she would lick him. It was really cute!!!

Awww, cute! You guys don't have that giant Great Dane anymore I take it. We're also dog-less at the moment and determined to remain so, but everytime I see my kids with a dog and how much they enjoy it, my determination weakens, just a bit.
